Saint Mary's Foundation

Inspired by the Dominican Sisters’ mission to connect those with resources with those in need, Saint Mary’s Foundation promotes charitable giving, community partnerships and awareness to enhance lives throughout Nevada.

For Saint Mary’s Foundation, philanthropy is one of the most powerful expressions of compassion and caring. Just as many people in the community need a hand, countless others are reaching out to them with comfort and hope. The Foundation strives to forge enduring connections between them, empowering the community to make a difference by giving.

Through personal gifts, grants and strategic partnerships, the Foundation provides a bridge between a kindhearted community and the lives that may be saved or changed.

Contributions to Saint Mary’s Foundation:

· Meet the basic health-care needs of the poor through our community-based clinics and mobile services
· Connect disenfranchised families with access to food, clothing, transportation and shelter
· Protect our children from vaccine-preventable diseases
· Install life-saving car seats for infants and children
· Prevent cancer and reduce the burden of this disease on our families
· Provide compassionate end-of-life care and support

The Saint Mary’s mission is to deliver compassionate, high-quality affordable health services; serving those who are poor and disenfranchised; and partnering with others in the community to improve quality of life. Thanks to an operating grant from Catholic Healthcare West – which is sponsored in part by the Dominican Sisters – the Foundation is able to direct 100 percent of contributions to the programs donors choose.
