Beyond the day-to-day acknowledgment of gifts, Saint Mary's Foundation also offers several levels and categories of donor recognition. When appropriate, naming opportunities are another way donors may be recognized.
Sustained Giving: These levels recognize a donor's total philanthropy for a calendar year, including outright gifts and event participation. These donors are listed on an electronic donor recognition wall inside Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center's Arlington Street entrance, along with an ad published every year in the Reno Gazette-Journal.
Sustained Giving Recognition Levels:
Dominican Council: $100,000+
Founders Council: $50,000+
Leadership Council: $20,000+
Community of Caring Recognition Levels:
Patron: $10,000+
Fellow: $5,000+
Partner: $1,000+
Friend: $500+
Supporter: $250+
Cumulative Giving: Lifetime gifts totalling $10,000 or more are listed on an electronic donor recognition wall inside the medical center's Arlington Street entrance. These levels recognize a donor's total lifetime outright philanthropy:
Philanthropist: $1,000,000+
Humanitarian: $500,000+
Ambassador: $100,000+
Benefactor: $25,000+
Sponsor: $10,000+
Planned Giving: Saint Mary's Foundation's Heritage Society is comprised of members who have made a planned gift (bequest, trust, annuity, etc.) to Saint Mary's. Their names are engraved on a display inside the Dominican Center's Sanford Library located at 520 West Sixth Street.
