Donations of In-Kind Goods
Saint Mary’s Foundation accepts donations of toys and other goods for our young patients.
Health standards of the medical center dictate that:
- Toys, games, stuffed animals and blankets must be new (blankets can be handmade)
- VHS tapes and DVDs can be new or previously watched (we can accept them with a rating up to PG-13, no R rated movies accepted)
- If there’s anything else you are interested in donating, please contact us so we can ask the nurses if they can use it
Generally small toys, games and plush animals are sent home with our patients because they are too difficult for us to clean. (Cleanliness and the ability to sanitize items between uses is very important to us!)
We accept donations year-round, and use them in our pediatrics, emergency, and outreach departments. Delivery of donations is accepted at our Foundation office at 520 W. Sixth Street, which is located two blocks from the medical center. Please call (775) 770-3020 or e-mail saintmarysfoundation@chw.edu if you have more questions about a donation of this type.
